After nearly a year of aging, Artesano’s Traditional Mead is resting quietly in bottles. The hand-made batches of honey wine will soon be ready. Early taste tests revealed a summery floral aroma with notes of citrus and figs (according to Artesano). The mead has a beautiful golden-straw color and is great on its own or paired with aged cheddar.
Artesano will reveal their Traditional Mead at the Taste of Woodstock Festival on August 14th, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This all-day community festival also features food, music, demonstrations and vendors located throughout the town.
