Vermont wines faired well at the 23rd Annual International Wine Judging put on by Tasters Guild International. The judging was held April 28 – May 1, 2010. Thirty judges from across the country completed over 2,200 evaluations of wine from 10 countries and 32 states/provinces during this four day event. The judging panels were comprised of a carefully selected mix of retailers, winemakers, wine writers, restaurateurs and experienced consumers. As part of the total wine evaluation process, nearly 40% of the wines entered were randomly chosen for reevaluation to verify the accuracy and fairness of medal consideration.
