Most of the wineries here in Vermont offer wine tastings. Some are by appointment only. You will find the hosts of these wine tastings to be quite happy to share a story or two while you sample some of their products. A necessary part of living in the State of Vermont is learning how to deal with adversity. And growing grapes and making wine in a state that spends 5 months of the year under snow has it's challenges! But our wineries make do.

The wineries typically harvest their grapes in the fall. While they are rather busy then, their staff is on hand to help you sample some fabulous wines from previous seasons! Some of the wineries have tasting rooms in more accessible locations (see below).

Boyden Valley Winery

About: Wine tasting offered every day they are open
Cost: $5.00 per person to taste up a dozen different wines

Charlotte Village Winery

About: Wine tasting from Memorial Day weekend to January 1st, from 11:00AM to 5:00PM. There is a large deck where wine customers can sit and enjoy spectacular views of the Adirondacks after tasting our award winning wines.

Fresh Tracks Farm Vineyard & Winery

About: Wines can be sampled at the Burlington Farmer’s Market.
Cost: Free

Grandview Winery

About: Open 11am to 5pm daily late May until late October. Closed Tuesdays. Or visit our Retail Shop and Tasting Room on Route 100, Waterbury Center, at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Open 11am to 5pm, seven days a week, all year. Closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

About: Mon-Friday 8-4. Saturday 9-5.

Honora Winery & Vineyard

About: Tasting room in downtown Jacksonville, VT. Wednesday thru Friday-11:00am-6:00pm; Saturday and Sunday-10:00am-6:00pm; Closed on Monday and Tuesday
